ThumbVideo is a video player designed specifically for thumb manipulation when holding your device with one hand. With the increasing screen size of recent iPhones, controlling video playback easily with one hand has become challenging; this application aims to address that issue effectively.

Notably, the app offers several features to facilitate one-handed control:
<ul>
<li>Horizontal flicking on the video pane allows for forwarding or rewinding the video by pre-set seconds.</li>
<li>The traditional horizontal time slider is displayed vertically at the left or right edge of the screen, enhancing ease of access.</li>
<li>Drawing a circle gesture functions as a jog dial, enabling fast forwarding or rewinding.</li>
<li>Long press at any point on the screen initiates a tenfold fast-forward function.</li>
</ul>

Regarding playback capabilities, ThumbVideo supports various sources, including:
<ul>
<li>Files transferred via iTunes File Sharing.</li>
<li>Videos linked from web pages opened within the in-app browser.*</li>
<li>Videos captured directly with the device’s built-in camera.</li>
<li>Content from iTunes Store such as movies, TV programs, music videos, video podcasts, and iTunesU content (excluding DRM-protected files).</li>
<li>Videos opened with the "Open In..." feature from other applications.</li>
<li>Files linked with the "thumbvideo://" URL scheme from Safari or other apps.</li>
</ul>

The application also includes additional features aimed at enhancing user experience:
<ul>
<li>Utilization of AirPlay or Apple Digital AV adapters allows using the iOS device as a flick-enabled remote control when streaming to a TV or projector.</li>
<li>You can control playback using play/pause and skip forward/backward buttons on compatible earphones or Bluetooth headsets.</li>
<li>The last watched position synchronizes through iCloud, providing continuity across devices.</li>
<li>Flick-based seek times can be customized according to user preference.</li>
<li>A "Secret Folder" feature enables hiding sensitive videos, which can be unlocked using Touch ID.</li>
<li>Support for Bluetooth hardware keyboards is included for improved control.</li>
</ul>
